Our Privacy Statement sets out the basis on which any personal data that we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed. We will ensure that it is held and prcessed securely and in accordance with our won privacy policy, and kept only for the time necessary to complete the work. we ask you to complete a research survey, you will always be able to choose whether you want to complete it, and what personal information to disclose or withhold. Information may include but not be limited to demographic data, housing, health, wellbeing, social and employment data depending on the nature of the research.

We do not collect, process or store and personal or business financial details or payment transaction information through our website.

What do we do with your information?

We will use the contact information we hold about you to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you or your organisation and us. We may also use the information to provide you with information, products or services that your request from us or which we feel may be of interest to you. We may contact you about these by post or telephone. We will contact you by electronic means only where you have consented to this.

Data collected through the completion of research surveys will be processed in such a way that the data extracted cannot be attributed to an individual data subject without the use of additional information, which will be kept separately and securely.

Who might we share your information with?

Research data will be processed on behalf of clients and reported back to them in such a way that individual respondents cannot be identified from the personal data collated unless they have provided express permission, for example to be quoted in a report or used as an illustrative case study. You will retain the right for your personal data to be deleted if you no longer wish to participate in the research. The ability to delete your data may be limited once a report has been collated if it may compromise the validity of the overall data used.

We will not share your information for marketing purposes with any other companies or individuals unless you ask us to refer you to a service that you need and you have given us express permission to do so, or unless we are required to do so by the government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law.

How do we look after your information?

The data that we collect from you will be stored securely at our premises or on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Our website is currently hosted by Wix.com, a US-based hosting company. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely until it is no longer required or has no use. Information collected on behalf of a client or to carry out contracted work will generally be stored for no more than five years after completion of the contract.

How can I access the information you hold about me?

You have a right under the DPA to access information held about you. You can find out if we hold any personal information about yuu by making a ‘subject access request’ under the terms of the Act. If we do hold information about you we will:

Tell you why we are holding it
Tell you who it could be disclosed to
Let you have a copy

Access requests should be made in writing to Highland Community Resources and may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our administrative costs.

If you think any of the information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, or if you wish your information to be removed from our records, please contact us and we will correct or remove information promptly.
